POTHOLE FILLING

OUR PROCESS

Our estimating team will first come to the site to mark out all potholes needing filling. Our quote will note the details needed to bring safety to your pavement, and to extend the life of your asset to the fullest. 

Once the potholes are marked, our team will power blow all dirt and debris out of the gaping holes. With the potholes cleaned, we will then fill them to grade with compressed hot HL3 asphalt. Any dips in your pavement that have similar depths and effects as a pothole will first be coated with SS1 tack coat and then filled to grade with compressed hot HL3 asphalt. The tack coat will prime, glue, and bond the existing base pavement layer to the newly applied layer.  

Once the potholes are filled, it is important to allow the new asphalt to properly cure. If necessary; you can drive on them after 24 hours. Refrain from turning tires or parking on the repaired potholes for at least 14 days.
